Whatever industry you’re in, chances are there are at least one or two major conventions and conferences that are relevant to your business. Attending these events is a good idea – speaking at them is even better. Even a halfway decent speaking engagement is an excellent way to establish yourself as a thought leader in your industry and gain significant exposure for your site.

For a website to be successful it all starts with landing pages that convert well and have high conversion rates. This means that a high percentage of the people that visit your website also actually perform a desired action. A desired action could be the purchase of a product, a membership registration, newsletter subscriptions or clicking on an advertisement, but it can also be any action that you want your visitors to do that goes beyond simple web browsing.

Thanks Jure. That actually makes sense. Exactly: I’ve tested lowering the number of tips in a few posts and it’s helped CTR/organic traffic. One thing to keep in mind is that the number can also be: the year, time (like how long it will take to find what someone needs), % (like 25% off) etc. It doesn’t have to be the number of tips, classified ads, etc.
Figures on a free website traffic checker are never completely accurate – tests have shown there may be considerable deviations. Therefore, you should always consider the results as estimates and guidelines. The tools are more suitable for a quick traffic comparison of different websites than for determining precise key figures. Important: to ensure that the comparison is also meaningful, it is best to always use the same tool – otherwise the results can be heavily falsified.
SEMRush doesn’t just evaluate general traffic on a website. It also provides a breakdown of which keywords users searched for to lead them to your site. If you want to find out which keywords your competitors rank for, this tool can be very helpful. Like SimilarWeb, the information is not always completely accurate. Nevertheless, SEMRush works well if you just want an initial overview. They have a particularly good range of functions: you can display reports on domain overviews, organic research, and many other areas.

We should warn you that we can not guarantee the improved performance of your website. How well the visitors from our traffic convert is totally dependent on your website. For starters it depends on what kind of website you have, as you might imagine, a website that sells expensive smartphones would logically have lower conversion rate than a simple online shoe store
This example illustrates why marketing metrics such as web traffic cannot be viewed in a vacuum. Two contrasting websites achieve the same outcome, where they are failing to capitalize on what they do well. By focusing on the one metric where they excel, it fails to acknowledge the area for improvement. By studying the whole picture and optimizing areas of subpar performance, ecommerce stores give their customers the best possible experience while maximizing revenue.

Not sure exactly why, perhaps I used a number too big and since my page is about classifieds, it probably seemed too much to browse through 1500 ads, I assume? Somewhat like you would post 800 tips for better ranking? Don’t know, will try to change things a bit and see how it goes, but you really gave me some new suggestions to go for with this article. Thanks again 🙂
In the site, you can get StumbleUpon toolbar for your browser so that you can explore it at any time. You can also download StumbleUpon Addon for browsers like Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. StumbleUpon app is also available for devices like iPhone, Android phone etc… And you can also download the StumbleUpon App for Windows 8 from the Windows Store.
I am new at this. I have been researching keywords and have found a few keyword phrases that nobody in the first page of Google results is even using in their Title Tag or H1 Tag. Some of the companies on the results page have a high pagerank and lots of backlinks. If I optimize for this exact keyword phrase with a new website, would I have much of a chance of getting on the first page eventually?
Getting systematic with traffic generation techniques is an important thing to do for regularizing the flow. Most bloggers will get enthusiastic about one strategy that is suggested by their favorite blogger and try that out. But they don’t follow that up. They forget about that strategy all together and move on to another method, without actually tracking what results that particular technique gives out. Consistency, patience and persistence matter a lot when it comes to traffic generation.
4. Add a blog to your website; blog can attract quality traffic courtesy to their huge content. Blogs have a dynamic content enriched with powerful keywords; use these keywords to attract your customers. Blogs give you the option of adding many multimedia features as well which can be eye catching. But keep posting in post at regular intervals on the blog. Add a forum to the blog and enable guest posting. Guest posting sometimes can attract huge traffic.

Guest blogging is a legitimate way to create a press mention (and link) on a credible website. It’s a powerful, but sensitive tactic that starts with empathy for the needs of the editor and their target audience. When used properly, a high-value article is published in your name on another site and potentially links back to the in-depth article on your website.

Organic traffic is the traffic you get when people follow links from a search engine results page and land on your site. Organic traffic contrasts with referral traffic which comes from links on other sites, and paid traffic, which is traffic resulting from ads. You can boost organic traffic by using content marketing, and by optimizing that content with SEO. Well-optimized content is more likely to get a high search ranking, and attract more clicks and traffic.

I really enjoyed your post, im building my own business from the ground up making custom furniture, lighting, and home decor. it took me a year to launch my website and now im trying to invite more traffic and ways for clients and interested parties to share my content and start buying my product. I liked the idea of Share triggers… im going to be incorporating that into my social media strategies. Any advice would go a long way. thanks again Brian
Google is paying more attention to the meaning of search terms and less attention to the combinations of letters and words. It’s called “semantic search.” Scroll through the search results and see if other phrases, not just the phrase you entered, are bolded. If you see synonyms and related words in bold text, that means Google has created a semantic link between your words and these words. Write these down.
I’ve just started blogging and there’s a ton of useful information here. I was wondering how to use reddit and you cleared that up for me, as well as when to post to social media. Quora I’m going to check out as I’ve never heard of them-thank you! In your opinion would you also deal with any of the free traffic generators to have people come and engage, or would you skip that step? Would you use meta tags, and if yes how? Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you!

Traffic exchange users are comparatively low quality, but they’re still real humans. You’re getting real people to view your site, you’re just not bringing them in organically the way Google intends. You can make money from these users, but your conversion rate will be typically lower than what you might see from organic traffic. Of course, it’s also much cheaper and faster to find this traffic than it is to invest in SEO and content marketing.

High ranking metrics will result in getting your site on the top position of several charts such as Top Alexa sites, Top WOT sites and so more. People usually go through these lists to discover new sites and hence you will be getting referral traffic as well. Who knows? Some of those traffic may be your next big client or loyal reader of your blog.

Great article. My site has been up for several years now but I rebranded and switched from Blogger to WordPress about a year ago because I was told the reason why my traffic is so low is because I was using the wrong platform. I still haven’t seen an increase in my traffic and am very frustrated. I write in the health, fitness and parenting niche and I have over 30 experts that write for me, but I still don’t have the page views I would like. My paychecks are small and I am very frustrated. How do I find out what influencers in my niche are talking about and what they would like to share? I read tons of blogs, but most of them just review products or write about their kids, not a whole lot of similar articles. Where do I begin to find sharable content in my niche?

Holy Engagement! This was an awesome post, full of great info… and then I realized that 3/4 of the actual page was comments… which is even better for shares, SEO and overall engagement. I was lucky enough to attend an event where Neil Patel was giving some great blogging training and a lot of what you covered was there. https://www.thatbloggingthing.com/69-blogging-secrets-i-stole-from-neil-patel/ The simple fact that you comment back is awesome.

Social-If you have identified where your target spends their time online go there. One of my personal quotes is “Meet Your Clients on Their Terms, Where They Are”. Remember that you are in their space so act accordingly. If you jump on any social platform and sell, sell, sell you will not do well at all. Provide value, be personable and engage with others. It’s 80% give and 20% take on social.

Author and publish something controversial – go against established trends (with good reasons of course). Think “How I abandoned Google SEO in favour of Social Media Marketing”. Incidentally, if you're trying to figure out how to go about doing social media marketing, we've found the perfect article for you which deals all about the nuances of how to go about creating a great strategy for you
Can The Rebels Help You? Well, that depends. If you wish to pursue a LEGITIMATE way of earning online, following proven methods that WILL require some work, then yes. If you want to be able to look yourself in the mirror and proudly tell your friends and family what it is you do, then most definitely yes. Because as successful as each Rebel is individually, as a team, they’re pretty much unstoppable. And they’ll stop at nothing until each and every student of theirs becomes a success as well.

Webtrafficgeeks.org turned out to be outstanding in this area of business. Real people with obviously a passion for what they are doing. Beside that they run a professional business. Customer support is above industry standard from our experience. Last but not least the quality of the traffic matches that picture. Real visitors who are exploring your sites, low bounce rates and a solid conversion rate in our cases speak for themselves.

It is crucial as your conversion rates will be greatly improved and the products and services you offer will be bought at a higher rate as you will be receiving the right kind of customers. In addition, the constant traffic that is channeled to your website will have a great role to play in lifting the ranking of your website thus providing you greater visibility in Google searches.

Whatever industry you’re in, chances are there are at least one or two major conventions and conferences that are relevant to your business. Attending these events is a good idea – speaking at them is even better. Headlines are one of the most important parts of your content. Without a compelling headline, even the most comprehensive blog post will go unread. Master the art of headline writing. For example, the writers at BuzzFeed and Upworthy often write upward of twenty different headlines before finally settling on the one that will drive the most traffic, so think carefully about your headline before you hit “publish.”
The amount of raw data you have doesn’t help you much. Jason tells you how to convert all that data into money. You can learn which landing pages are driving less traffic and are low on conversions. You can find out which mobile platforms are driving the most traffic to your site and optimize accordingly. Also, you can see your referral traffic sources and invest in them more.
Hack #1: Hook readers in from the beginning. People have low attention spans. If you don’t have a compelling “hook” at the beginning of your blogs, people will click off in seconds. You can hook them in by teasing the benefits of the article (see the intro to this article for example!), telling a story, or stating a common problem that your audience faces.
I’ve always been one to create great content, but now I see it may not necessarily be the right content. Can Share Triggers work for all niches including things like plumbing companies, computer repair, maybe even handy men that have a website for their business? I would say I’m estimating half the views a month as I should. Hopefully some of these strategies will help.
